Humans Helping Humans Heal is built on a simple but powerful truth: when people are given safety, purpose, and the opportunity to contribute, lives change—and communities heal. This project creates living, regenerative ecosystems designed to interrupt cycles of trauma before they become crises, replacing emergency responses with stability, dignity, and hope.
Within each ecosystem, individuals find more than shelter or services—they find belonging. Greenhouses, regenerative food systems, and hands-on training programs become places of healing, learning, and contribution. Participants grow food, restore land, maintain shared spaces, and support one another while gaining real job skills, confidence, and pathways to employment.
These daily acts of purpose reduce repeated ER visits, prevent arrests born of survival, support recovery from substance dependency, and ease the long-term strain on healthcare, justice, and social systems.
For corporate partners and volunteers, Humans Helping Humans Heal offers a chance to invest in solutions that work—solutions that restore dignity, strengthen communities, and create measurable impact.
Sponsors help build sustainable infrastructure, fund training programs, and create pathways to stable employment. Volunteers become part of a living community where compassion turns into action and service turns into lasting change.
By aligning healing, work, and stewardship within a self-sustaining model, Gaia’s Humans Helping Humans Heal Project transforms crisis into contribution and isolation into connection. This is more than a program—it is an invitation to be part of something deeply human, profoundly effective, and truly transformative for people, communities, and the land we share.

If I Can Heal, You Can Too is Gaia’s online training program inspired by Liz’s real-life healing journey and years of lived research. After surviving a near-fatal injury and being told her body would never fully recover, Liz learned how to activate her body’s natural healing intelligence, restore mobility, and reclaim her health from within.
This program is built on a simple truth: the human body is designed to heal when given the right conditions—without inaccessible or unaffordable solutions. Through practical insights and embodied tools, Liz shares the knowledge she used to awaken her immune response, clear internal pathways, and defy the limits placed upon her.

The podcast is about promoting learning how to heal the body holistically through natural remedies & techniques, cooking with herbs & healthy foods, detoxing, learning how the body works, growing foods organically year-round in extreme conditions, exploring how we turn on the bodies healing abilities... sharing knowledge & research from our own experiences.
